Hiking in Switzerland: Graubünden

The Swiss Alps are known for their unique network of hiking trails. Graubünden, the largest holiday region in Switzerland, is the best example for that: here you have available 10,000 km of hiking trails - anything from a pleasant walk to an adventurous mountain hike. Summer and Autumn are the ideal seasons for a hiking holiday in the higher altitudes, but even in the Spring you can walk through blooming meadows and cool forests in Bregaglia, Valposchiavo, Domleschg or the Bündner Herrschaft area - while the mountain peaks are still covered in snow. In winter too, there are seasonal hiking opportunities along 1,400 prepared trails. So take a hike through all four seasons - the hiking trails of Graubünden

Tips from the Experts

They are travelling around Graubünden all year long, exploring the valleys and mountains of this Alpine region: our hiking experts Markus Isenmann, Norbi Manser, Andy Niedermann, Stefan Moser and Victoria Spinas. Here they talk about their experiences, give tips, and hopefully get you all enthused to go hiking in Graubünden.

Hikes for Spring and Early Summer

In many places the Winter sporting season is still in full swing, but Spring is breaking out all over in Graubünden's valleys. Bregaglia, Val Poschiavo, Domleschg and the Bündner Herrschaft region are very suitable for springtime hiking. Here are some tips from our experts.
