The museum constantly presents parts of its collection. In addition to Ernst Ludwig Kirchner, other representatives of classical modernism and contemporary art will be presented in special exhibitions.
Ernst Ludwig Kirchner (1880-1938) lived in Davos from 1918 until his death in 1938. Davos and its surroundings inspired him to create a large number of important works.
Our art education team is pleased to present you the contents of our collection and exhibitions.
Whether you would like to book a guided tour as a private group, as a school class or kindergarten: We are happy to respond to your individual wishes and needs. A guided tour can also be booked as an architectural tour or in combination with an architectural tour.
In our weekly workshops for children, we take a playful tour of the exhibition and then deepen what we have experienced in the art laboratory.
A visit to the new exhibition at the Kirchner Museum Davos is definitely worthwhile. Especially for families. Our newly designed art laboratory in the exhibition invites young visitors on a journey of discovery through the life and art of Kirchner. It offers to learn more about colors and their effects, to discover secrets of seeing and to get to know Kirchner and his surroundings in a playful way. Every Wednesday afternoon, workshops on various topics are held here. Workshops for adults are intended to give room for a wide range of inspiration and creativity.
