Lourdes-Grotte

The grotto was not established until 1921, after the valley was spared from a threatening livestock epidemic. Although this is not an ancient religious site with strong natural energies, it remains a remarkable place. Like most grottos, it has a cleansing effect by drawing energy from us. The benches beneath the large, old trees provide a peaceful spot for rest and reflection. When the grass is short, it’s worth taking a walk through the surrounding area. From an energetic perspective, the small hollow nearby would make a wonderful ceremonial site. However, whether it was ever used that way remains unconfirmed.
