Parsenn Davos Klosters

The Parsenn ski area connects urban Davos with the idyllic mountain village of Klosters and is considered a classic among the six ski resorts in the Davos Klosters Mountains winter sports region. From Davos, the Parsennbahn, an old funicular and from Klosters the Gotschnabahn bring enthusiastic skiers to the historic ski area. As early as 1895, four English tourists who had lost their way on the Weissfluhjoch discovered the 12 km long Parsenn descent to Küblis. Since then, the Parsenn ski resort has developed and is now known beyond the Swiss border. A special event is the Parsenn Derby, which has been held regularly since 1924. Away from the slopes, the Parsenn ski area also has a lot to offer. There is a toboggan run, a romantic igloo hotel and a beautiful panoramic winter hiking trail on the Gotschnagrat.
