Description
The Ragnatscherfall, located above Mels near Sargans, originates from a small stream that is about 3.5 km long. The water flows over sandstone into the valley, and the waterfall is already visible from the highway. What makes this waterfall particularly impressive is that you can float spectacularly above it. The Palfriesbahn cable car runs over the Ragnatscherbach waterfalls for long stretches. Tip: Visit the waterfall in spring during the snowmelt or after heavy rainfall.
