Für Sternenjäger, zukünftige Astronauten und Entdecker von fernen Galaxien: In der Sternwarte Mirasteilas steht das grösste öffentlich zugängliche Teleskop der Schweiz. Das 1,6 Tonnen schwere Cassegrain-Teleskop hat eine Brennweite von neun Metern. Mirasteilas beobachtet Astroiden, Kometen und Satelliten und liefert die Daten an die US-Raumfahrtbehörde NASA.
