6. B&B Nühus, Safiental
The B&B is located in a Walser house that is over 200 years old. In its six double rooms, old meets new, creaky floorboards meet comfortable box-spring beds.
Nühus means ‘new house’ in Walser German. In fact, the traditional Walser house, which now serves as a B&B, is over 200 years old. Renovated in the 1960s by Graubünden architect Rudolf Olgiati, all of its rooms combine old and new, historical and modern. This is also true of the six spacious double rooms with creaky floorboards and comfortable box-spring beds. The B&B has an organic Swiss stone pine sauna with mountain views.
