Conters, a small mountain village in Prättigau. The community has a mere 234 residents – and one of them is Peter Egli. His profession: Farmer. And sled builder. A so-called Sled-famer, as Peter Egli calls himself. His workshop can be found at the end of a small alley, inside of a former barn. Raised in Küblis, he got married to Margrit Walli, who is from Conters, at age 23. Both have been farmers for the past forty years. They farm many animals, including: cows, pigs and brown chickens. «They aren´t as nervous as the white ones», says Peter with a mischievous smile.
