A sunrise – or sunset at an alpine lodge, surrounded by countless mountaintops – what can be more beautiful? Diverse lodges, in the middle of World Heritage's Sardona also add to this unique experience. The lodges are usually available from early summer to late autumn. A selection of alpine lodges.
The Ringelspitz Lodge SAC is located on the south-facing slope of the Ringelspitz Massif, at 2000 meters above sea level, above the Kunkel Pass. The lodge has 38 sleeping berths available.
The Sardona Lodge SAC is located at the very back of Calfeisen Valley, below the Sardona Glacier, at 2158 meters above sea level and offers 43 sleeping berths.
The Segnespass Mountain Lodge – a former military lodging facility – is located on the bridge of the Segne Pass (2627 meters above sea level), which connects Flims and Elm. The lodge offers 12 sleeping berths.
The Spitzmeilen Lodge SAC (2087 meters above sea level), on Flumserberg, is easily accessible and, thus, also suitable for families with small children. The modern lodge offers 50 sleeping berths.
The Martinsmad Lodge lies in a wild landscape, above Elm, at 2002 meters above sea level and offers accommodation for 40 people.
