Building Course - Dry Stone Walls

Would you like to learn a traditional craft and at the same time contribute to the protection of the landscape and nature in Switzerland? The Beverin Nature Park offers the opportunity to learn the traditional craft of dry stone wall construction from an expert. As part of the three-day course, you will build or restore a dry stone wall in Splügen with our expert. In addition, you will learn a lot of interesting facts about the ecological value of these buildings.

Tools and gloves will be provided by the course instructor, suitable work clothes and good footwear will be brought by the participants themselves. The construction of dry stone walls is an exhausting craft, good physical condition is therefore required. Insurance and accommodation is the responsibility of the participants.
