Cinema: "Lars Eidinger" in Ilanz

Eidinger is an extraordinary actor in every respect. On stage, he convinces with his physical presence, his varied playing and his emotionality. As a result, he adds depth and credibility to his characters and ensures sold-out theaters around the world. He has dedicated his life entirely to art, be it as an actor, director, photographer or DJ.

Holzemer accompanied the actor with his camera for nine months. It shows how Eidinger develops the leading role of Jedermann at the 2021 Salzburg Festival and documents the intensive collaboration between Lars Eidinger and Thomas Ostermeier, director and artistic director at Berlin's Schaubühne. With the Shakespeare productions of Hamlet and Richard III, they wrote theatre history together.
