Pina Palau is a singer-songwriter from Zurich. With her songs she amazes and makes the audience smile and lets you see everyday and well-known things in a new light. The music of Pina Palau makes you happy and thoughtful at the same time. It unites the American West with folk, rock, indie and melancholic harmonica. Her musical style is reminiscent of artists like Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus or Big Thief and yet is something very special.

Pina Palau's debut album Illusion was released in 2022 on the label Mouthwatering Records. It sounds like a collection of exciting short stories. The feeling of being locked up when you don't see a person for days or have a conversation with a friend who suffers from lovesickness. Everyday observations that are told so delicately and precisely that one inevitably recognizes oneself in them. The album Illusion was produced together with Mario Hänni, also known by Mnevis or as ex-drummer of Sophie Hunger and Pablo Nouvelle.
