Clazz

Luca Sisera, born in Chur in 1975, has been a sought-after bassist and composer of the Swiss jazz and improvisation scene for over twenty years, who has attracted international attention through numerous projects. During the Corona forced break, he fulfilled a long-cherished wish and composed a piece in which the dialogue between the improvisational openness of jazz and multicolored symphonic orchestra is sought and lived.

"To create something new and outrageous" was the goal. Together with the Kammerphilharmonie Graubünden under the direction of Gaudens Bieri, the jazz quintet "ROOFER" embarks on this exciting musical excursion between jazz and classical music, building musical bridges between tradition and innovation.

What can visitors to the world premiere of "CLAZZ" particularly look forward to? The composer is brief and concise: "To a five-part, adventurous jazz suite inspired by classical music, without blinkers or fear of contact."
