Concert: Pippo Pollina

In January 2022, the 24th album of the Sicilian singer-songwriter Pippo Pollina was released. A good reason to go on tour through half of Europe together with the Palermo Acoustic Quintet and the new songs.

Pippo Pollina impresses with his irrepressible creativity, with which he has been surprising his many loyal fans again and again for more than 35 years. Be it with lyrical ballads, poetic protest songs or rock songs: Pollina's language always remains sensitive and tender. Like hardly any other singer-songwriter, he succeeds in making a poem out of each of his verses. A poem that triggers a flood of images. Imaginatively, his musical stories revolve around the very human: longing and fulfillment, sorrow and happiness and again and again about the question of meaning and meaning behind things.
