Domleschger Summer Concerts 2023 - 1st concert

Margrit Fluor, organist at St. Peter in Zurich, and Anita Jehli, cello, have been playing together as a duo for many years. For the concert in the church Feldis with the organ without pedals, they have put together a program that focuses on two focal points: Francesco Geminiani and Antonio Vivaldi are three sonatas for violoncello and organ from the Italian Baroque of the 18th century. These Baroque masterpieces are complemented by compositions related to Graubünden: a piece for solo cello by Benedetg Dolf, organ solo works from the Samedan manuscript and three bagatelles by Hansjörg Stalder as well as a humorous series of variations by organist Hannes Meyer, arranged for violoncello and organ.
