Easter concert with Katharina & Emil

Katharina Mätzler, born in Dornbirn in 2005, is studying bassoon at the Stella Vorarlberg University of Music and is also completing a junior course at the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. She also attends the Musikgymnasium Feldkirch. Katharina is a multiple 1st prize winner at the national and state competition prima la musica, prize winner of Musica Juventutis in Vienna, won the isaChallenge and the Stella Music Prize 2022. Katharina Mätzler gained orchestral experience with the Vorarlberg Symphony Orchestra, the Stella Sinfonietta, the Bavarian State Youth Orchestra and the Arpeggione Chamber Orchestra.

Emil Laternser, born in October 2004 in Vaduz, is currently studying at the Zurich University of the Arts. At the same time, he attended the Musikgymnasium Feldkirch. He received his first piano lessons at the age of seven at the Liechtenstein Music School. The scholarship holder of the International Music Academy in Liechtenstein is a prizewinner of various national and international competitions. As a soloist, he has recently performed with the Liechtenstein Symphony Orchestra, the Montfort Chamber Orchestra and the Arpeggione Chamber Orchestra.
