Exhibition "Grass Stories" by Dharmendra Prasad in Tenna

The exhibition in the ILEA Gallery at the Berghotel Alpenblick in Tenna is a review of the works created by the Indian artist Dharmendra Prasad during Art Safiental 2022 on the theme "Learning from the earth". The show also shows the continuation of his work in India on the same theme.

Last summer, the Indian artist spent around three months at the ILEA artist residency in Tenna. During this time he began to deal intensively with grass and to work with it as a material and medium. The exhibition is both a retrospective of the works created in Tenna (objects, drawings, texts, photos, videos, performances and installations).

The local public will still have fond memories of the Grass Museum above Tenna. This was part of the past Art Safiental Biennale and can be visited until the end of winter.
