Ann Nielsen inspires the audience with her unique voice characterized by blues and soul. The Scandinavian temperament of the Danish singer ensures her fiery-cool radiance full of seductive warmth. Whether in gentle ballads or groovy uptempo songs: Ann Nielsen's voice floats in and above the music.

Ann Nielsen grew up in Denmark and now lives in the Graubünden Oberland. Already as a small child she composed and sang her first songs. At the age of twelve she stood on stage for the first time and it was immediately clear: this is her element.

Her professional path led her to Germany, where she remained faithful to music. She worked with Reinhold Heil (Spliff, Nina Hagen, Nena) and toured Germany and Austria with her band "Silky Racketeers".

In the more than 20 years in the Graubünden Oberland, Ann Nielsen celebrated further successes with various regional bands and projects. Since 2018 she has maintained a fruitful collaboration with the musician and composer Thomas Cathomen aka tumasch

è.Together with him, as well as the producers Conor Brady, Cian Boylan and Leo Virgili, the album «Floodflower», her most recent album, was created in Denmark, Italy and Ireland between 2019 and 2021. The ten songs reflect Ann's feelings and experiences - shaped by her well-traveled biography.
