Finissage with aperitif: Solo exhibition Esther Schena

Ghost image exploration is how Esther Schena describes her search movement, in which she pursues the connection between the visible and the invisible. In doing so, she examines the phenomenon of space not only in its physical dimension, but also the traces of time that can be seen in and in it. In this experimental process, chance often plays an essential and deliberate role, as it brings to light the unforeseen (sometimes also the unconscious). Both in advance and during the period of the exhibition "visibel — invisibel, retschercha da spazis illa Chasa Jaura", it will be constantly expanded and further developed through artistic interventions. For such an intervention, Esther Schena will explore the house on a printing level. Using a printing roller, the various surfaces of walls, floors and objects that she finds in the house are transferred to paper. The play with the visible and the invisible refers to a temporary state: the process of change and transience, from which something new can emerge again and again. For her exhibition, Esther Schena has also invited guests who either deal with this topic in terms of content or who deal with printing processes.
