Guided tour Fürstenau

City tour with Rudolf Küntzel. With a visit to the medieval wall paintings in the Stoffelhaus. Afterwards aperitif offered by the city and prepared by the Casa Caminada in Fürstenau. Duration approx. 1 1 /2 hours.
In Graubünden, secular wall paintings from this period exist in only 3 places and are therefore unique in terms of art history. The hunting scene gives an insight into how the Bishop of Chur celebrated court life in the town of Fürstenau at that time. During the city tour, the history of the fourth city in Graubünden comes back to life as a transport hub in the Middle Ages and cultural hotspot in modern times.
