Guided wildlife excursion "grond"

Experienced, local rangers and hunters offer you the unique opportunity to observe and learn interesting facts about wildlife such as chamois, ibex, eagle, bearded vulture and marmot in their natural habitat.

Even the trip to the wildlife sanctuary is an experience. With a Landrover Defender it usually goes over gravel roads to over the tree line, where the walk then starts.

During the excursion, the excursion leader will focus on wildlife observation. In addition, the plant and landscape characteristics are explored and the importance of the various ecosystems is conveyed.

The wildlife excursion is aimed at all nature lovers. Prerequisites are walking ability as well as good footwear and appropriate clothing for outdoors.

Duration of the excursion approx. 4 - 6 hours.

Game viewing takes place on one of two routes. The final choice of route will be made at short notice by the excursion leader. This depends on the wildlife, weather and other factors.

Route Tguma-Carnusa Pass - Designed for ibex, chamois, eagle and marmot
- Transport by off-road vehicle from the Zillis car park (free parking) to Tguma
- Difficulty: Easy (T2)
- Running distance round trip: 6 Km
- Elevation meters: 300

Route Bavugls Dam - Designed for chamois, red deer, ibex, eagle, marmot and black deer
- Transport by off-road vehicle from the Zillis car park (free parking) to Bavugls
- Difficulty: Easy (T1-T2)
- Running distance round trip: 5 km
- Elevation gain: 260
- Lunch with local products included

Registration required by 11.30 a.m. the day before, limited number of participants. The excursion is carried out from 4 to max. 8 people.
