Ilanzer Sommer: Atelier 2 - Is resistance worth it?

The three-day workshop provides an understanding of how civil resistance is formed and how it can be successful.
The studios can also be visited individually. The first day gives an introduction to the history and theory of civil resistance. Day two focuses on case studies, on the third day there are practical exercises for resistance in everyday life.

Atelier 2: How does resistance arise and when does it succeed? Organized resistance led to the overthrow of President Omar al-Bashir in Sudan. In Europe, young people are taking to the streets for a modern climate policy. In conversation with the two activists Azza Mustafa (online from Sudan) and Meret Schefer (Climate Youth), you will learn about examples of recent protest movements.
