Musician Marc Jenny developed Yes, Don't Panic! as a democratic conducting concept for improvising music ensembles and their audiences. Using a tablet, the musicians send each other playing instructions, which they integrate into their respective playing. And the audience can also intervene discreetly with their own smartphones. This instant composing creates multi-layered soundscapes and surprising progressions, peppered with humor and madness – a completely new approach to improvised music. Yes, Don't Panic! The JazzChur Summer Festival means: Three concerts with three different formations, live and in an interactive online stream. The public rehearsals will take place at 4.15 p.m.
