Klosters Music - Three in one fell swoop

A clumsy waiter, who moves extremely skillfully on roller skates and wins the heart of his beloved through the driving skills. Charlie Chaplin's «The Rink» from 1916 was performed throughout Europe, from France to Italy and Spain to Finland, making Chaplin the most famous actor of his time. With «One Week» (1920) by slapstick genius Buster Keaton and «Big Business» (1929) with comic legends Laurel and Hardy, Klosters Music presents two further titles from the first half of the 20th century and thus takes us back to the silent film era, when film music experienced its greatest time. The City Light Orchestra, which already ensured a sold-out Arena Klosters with «Cinema Paradiso» and «Singin' in the rain», will bring the music of Carl Davis to life in chamber orchestra: between Broadway and coffee house, between symphonic sound and jazz.
