Maloja Lake Run

Everyone will enjoy the run and start the running autumn or bring the running summer to a pleasurable end. If you prefer something more comfortable, you can complete the run in pairs in a relay.

Start and finish is at the multi-purpose hall Maloja. First it goes on the wide forest road from Maloja to Isola. During this time, everyone has the opportunity to find their place in the field. Exit Isola it goes to Sils on the narrow shore path over hill and dale. Instead of continuing to the village of Sils, the path follows the lakeshore and branches off shortly before Chastè towards Maloja main road. A few meters lead over asphalt and over the main road before the heart of the run is imminent. Along the Via Engiadina it runs with far-reaching views over Lake Sils and the surrounding mountains to Grevasalvas. From Heidi village, the mountain pasture settlement above Plaun da Lej, a wide section of the path continues to the second mountain pasture settlement Blaunca. Once in Blaunca it means – let go and be careful on the descent. The descent to Maloja takes place via Pila and the Pro Natura Reserve. At Atelier Segantini, the finish line is in sight and a fine autumnal lunch awaits the runners.
