Minas da Gulatsch near Rueun

Accompanied by a cultural guide, we walk in the footsteps of ore miners and visit the mining tunnels Minas da Gulatsch. After this hike for all the senses, we cross the Schmuér, where some of the rocks of the exhibition Schichtwechsel-La Surselva are at home. Through meadows and pastures of Andiast we reach Curtginet and the village of Waltensburg/Vuorz. A visit to the church transports us to medieval culture with the frescoes of the Waltensburg master. On the descent to Waltensburg station, we reach the Verrucantrog, known for the Glarus thrust in the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona.
