Vrin, the farthest village of the Lumnezia, is known as the gateway to the Greina and as the home of the architect Gion A. Caminada. In 1998, the people of Vrin received the Wakker Prize for their careful handling of the inherited building fabric. Today, in addition to the Italian-style campanile of the church, numerous modern houses and stables made of wood built by Gion A. Caminada also create identity.
