When the Primm family moves to New York, their young son, Josh, struggles to adjust to his new school and friends. That changes when he discovers Lyle - a lovable crocodile who loves bathing and good music and lives in the attic of his new house. The two quickly become friends, but when Lyle's existence is threatened by Mr. Grump's evil neighbor, the Primms must team up with Lyle's charismatic owner, Hector P. Valenti, to show the world that family can arise even under the most unexpected circumstances, and that there's nothing wrong with a lovable crocodile with an even bigger personality.
