Outdoor exhibition - The history of the Commercialstrasse

With the start of the exhibition "200 Years of Commercialstrasse" in the Pfrundhaus in Cazis, there is also a lot to experience outdoors. The entire upper village of Cazis was decorated with 13 large plaques. Locals and guests alike will get an insight into the time of road construction from 1818 to 1823. The tour starts at the fountain at the junction Italienische Strasse - Cafluristutz and goes along the Italienische Strasse in the direction of Haus Adler. From there over the Kirchenstutz to the highest point of the former Commercialstrasse. Past the parish hall, the tour leads to the inner village to the 13th table. If you study each of the panels, you will need about an hour for the whole tour.

By appointment with the Cultural Archive, a special guided tour can be arranged for groups of 5 or more (CHF 10.00 per person).
