St. Moritz Art Film Festival

The St. Moritz Art Film Festival was founded in 2020 as an international cinema and audiovisual festival. Current cinema, art and audiovisual culture are reflected with projections, lectures and discussions.The second edition of the St. Moritz Art Film Festival will take place from 31 August to 3 September 2023 on the theme of "Becoming Landscape". In addition to the natural context of the Engadin, the landscape is illuminated as the result of a transformation. The classic opposition between "figure and ground" blurs into a new status: the subject becomes the landscape, and symmetrically, the landscape is the unfolding of the subject. The subject is explored from different aspects.
Young filmmakers and video artists can now submit their latest works.
