Stämpf

The hometown of HR Gigers Aliens has not only left a lasting mark on Hollywood, but also an imprinted music scene, which, however, rarely spills over to Germany. Nevertheless, Stämpf has been live again and again for decades. There were extensive tours of Germany, for him already with his bands Mudslick and San Dimas – as support of the great Subway to Sally, in the 90s.

In Switzerland, things look different for him: various gold records adorn his studio walls. His fun-punk combo "QL" was able to clear rows of precious metal after the millennium with their snotty dialect charm. At that time there was also support from Germany, namely from J.B.O., in the studio and live as support.

Since 2013, Stämpf has been primarily solo on the road under his catchy street name. He heralded this release with a jury post in a huge Saturday evening box on
Swiss television. Millions of viewers were able to watch the entry of the rocker with the special horn hairstyle into the Swiss mainstream. One of the last Swiss robbers, who is currently touring Switzerland with the combo "The Trail" (with Freddy Scherer von Gotthard, among others).
