In forest bathing (Shinrin-Yoku) you are invited to experience nature with all your senses. With mindfulness-based exercises, we immerse ourselves in the diversity of nature together and create a time-out from everyday life through deceleration. It is about moving from doing to being. This gives us a better perception of ourselves and allows us to relax our body and mind.
Nature has been proven to have a positive effect on our well-being and health because immersing ourselves in the atmosphere of nature regenerates the nervous system, the body, the mind and strengthens the immune system, thus contributing to our health promotion.
What do you need Clothing: I always recommend clothes adapted to the weather in the "onion look". In the forest it often feels a bit cooler because of the humidity. In addition, we only move slowly and without exertion and we also sit for a while. A waterproof jacket, pants and shoes are ideal for rainy weather. A jacket is, as the case may be, also useful in warm temperaturesI recommend thin longer pants even in summer (danger of ticks!).
Shoes: I recommend closed-toe shoes, sneakers with a good tread or hiking boots.
Tick spray: Please spray yourselves well with a tick repellent before swimming in the woods. I recommend you check yourself for ticks after spending time in nature.
The Shinrin-Yoku / Forest Bathing course will be held in all weather conditions.
