A single summit does not yet make a mountain: literary tours to Davos.Myth Davos: Thomas Mann's novel "The Magic Mountain" (1924) towers majestically over the literary Alpine landscape. The claim to authority and notoriety of this single work are enormous, while the majority of the other Davos texts are almost forgotten today. In addition to the mountain giant, the lecture also presents the upstream and the subsequent summit points. Only in the juxtaposition of the novels of internationally acclaimed authors – Beatrice Harraden, E.M.
