There is a Graubünden beyond the well-known tourist places. There are idyllic mountain villages with names like Tschli, Soglio or Splügen which characterise this varied Swiss holiday area with its three languages and its ancient valleys. It is these small and pretty places which tell the tale of mankind’s early battles with nature and today are calm oases from the hectic everyday life. It is where visitors are greeted with a cheery “Buongiorno!” an “Allegra!” or a “Gruezi!” in a uniquely enchanting mountain landscape where it is so peaceful the fox and the rabbit wish each other good night.
