Until now you could reach the Val Trupchun on foot or by horse-drawn carriage from S-chanf. This summer, however, this is set to change; from June to October, the Express Parc Naziunel will operate from S-chanf railway station to the Varusch park hut. This motor-powered sightseeing train operates once an hour and fits in with the connections of the Rhaetian Railway. The glass-panelled train formation, comprising three carriages, appeals to old and young alike and offers an exciting alternative to covering the distance on foot. In fine weather, the windows can be removed, allowing passengers to breathe in the fresh mountain air.
