Description

We start at the train stop in Acla da Fontauna in Disentis. The ascent to Segnas and Val Segnas is pleasant and we reach the highest point of the tour on a road. Plaun Menisch: Here there is nothing that clouds the view of the mountain panorama with the Medelser glacier and at regular intervals the cable car floats above our heads. It is an optimal place to take a break. With small counter-climbs we continue over the Val Acletta into the Val Clavaniev and over the Muntatsch to the valley. The trail is largely only moderately challenging, so you can always take a look at the surroundings.

Directions

From Acla da Fontauna we drive a short distance to the left on the cantonal road. to the junction to Cuoz. On district and driving paths we reach Buretsch, later Segnas. We cross the village from south to north and we pedal to the left of the stream to the bridge. Here we follow the road to the right to Plaun Menisch. The descent continues a bit further on a road, but after the second bend we turn left into Val Acletta. On a single trail we overcome the Val Clavaniev. As soon as the path leads into a road, it goes easily downhill. After the big right turn, however, the turnoff on the right, after Clavaniev, must not be missed. It goes up again. After the Clavaniev faction, we follow the hiking trail to the right, which leads over the Muntach. Now we can roll out to Acla da Fontauna.
