Description

We escape the hustle and bustle of the village and leave the inhabited houses in the direction of Cungieri. Along a sunny slope, where people used to ski and later sledge, a well-maintained hiking trail now leads up to the Cungieri hill. Rumour has it that this is the most beautiful vantage point in the valley. We gradually gain height in a constant back and forth, the view down into the valley becomes more and more interesting and a first-class mountain panorama unfolds. Every now and then we find a bench to rest on so that we can take our time on the ascent. We enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine on the terrace of the Ustria before hiking back down to the valley along the same route.

At 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., you can also take the cable car down to the valley in comfort. www.disentis.fun

Important: Restricted opening hours of the Ustria Cungieri for winter 23/24! www.cungieri.ch
