445 Salaaser Kopf

This bike tour starts near the mountain railway valley station in Ravaisch. The ascent begins right behind the village and follows the Schergenbach stream to the Zeblasjoch. Once you are on the Paliner Kopf you have reached the highest point, and after this, the most scenic part of the tour starts. Cross a ridge to get to the Salaaser Kopf. Yet again admire the panoramic view of the Samnaun mountains and negotiate several bends on your way down to the Plaaner Salaas.

Now a short ascent to the Alptrider Sattel, where the double-decker cable car comes up from the valley, and then ride on a well-developed freeride trail down to Alp Trida. A short way further down, a beautiful flowtrail starts that gives you an enjoyable descent into the valley and which makes this bike tour an unforgettable experience. When you get to Samnaun-Laret you follow the path via the village of Plan and back to the starting point in Ravaisch.
