Description

From the information office in Lenzerheide the route takes us to the camp site and on to Lain. A gentle climb leads us through the hamlet of Sporz and past the Hotel Guarda Val. The Guarda Val is a unique Maiensäss hotel, spread out among eleven huts and barns, some of them up to 300 years old. The restaurant's sun terrace has fantastic views of the valley and is the ideal spot to take a breather. The route continues along the Alpstrasse through Sporz and Sissi to Spoina, another picturesque Bergbeizli or mountain inn. This time we are able to admire the wonderful views of the deep-blue waters of Lake Heidsee. Then we're pleasantly on our way again towards the valley. After reaching Valbella, the tour continues on the other side of the valley with a brief and gentle climb towards Scharmoin. The brisk downhill section through the refreshingly cool forest takes us back to Lenzerheide. This easy tour comprises three gentle climbs, two of which are asphalted. And more than 3/4 of the entire route are also asphalted.
