677 Lag Serein - Lag Crest Ault

The Disentis3000 cable car takes the hiker comfortably to Caischavedra, where the tour begins. Through the damp mats of Alp Magriel, the path is lined with orchids and woolly grass. On the slopes, the alpine roses bloom in July, a nice contrast to the snowy peaks. The water of the Lag Serein is clear and pure as the name promises and a refreshing swim can also be dared. This is followed by a short ascent around the Muotta dil Tir to Val Clavaniev. From there there are only a few hairpin bends left until the Lag Crest Ault is reached. It is worth taking a longer break here to strengthen yourself for the descent. But if you take it easy and if you have hiking poles with you, the altitude meters are easy to master. Via Plaun Grond and Clavaniev you get back to the valley station of the cable car.

Attention: On high-altitude sections, snowfields are possible until the summer months.
