Description

The winter hike starts at Sumsiaras and leads over a short ascent to the edge of the village in Bual. The pyramid-shaped Péz Terri always in sight, it goes further down the valley towards Davos Munts without any significant incline.

At the idyllic snow-covered davos Munts bathing lake, the long, only moderately steep ascent to Triel begins. The middle station of the Obersaxen Mundaun Lumnezia cable cars is located at one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the Val Lumnezia. The panorama stretches from the Signina Group to the Péz Regina to the Péz Terri. From Triel there is the possibility to take the chairlift back to Vella.

The route continues through snowy Maiensässe down to Morissen. After crossing the mountain village, we return to Vella, whose village centre is characterized by shabby stone houses.
