Description

The winter hiking trail starting at the Corviglia mountain station is easily accessible by funicular from St. Moritz village. Just a few meters after the start, you leave the ski area behind and soon find yourself in a magnificent winter landscape.

The 3-kilometer-long path runs continuously gently downhill and only rises slightly at the very end. The leisurely hike lasts about 1.5 hours. Upon arrival at Marguns, it is worth stopping at the Chadafö restaurant. Or you can take the chairlift back to Corviglia and dine at one of the restaurants there. Tickets for the chairlift ride can be purchased on site.

Those wishing to stay out longer can turn right on the way into the path from Marguns to the Chantarella middle station.

The winter hiking trail is open during the winter season, depending on snow conditions.

Note: The winter hiking trail is not a toboggan run; the mountain railways do not transport toboggans to Corviglia and Marguns. Exception: families may carry a toboggan to pull their children.
