Details
Description
The Pischa cable car is closed during the summer months and offers those who venture to the height of the Pischahorn a haven of peace. This route requires a bit more physical fitness than the other Davos Klosters Ridges but compensates with breathtaking views of the Flüela valley, the village, and the heart-shaped Pischa lake. The path winds up the Flüelaberg to the Pischagrat, where it follows the ridge to the Pischahorn. The first part of the descent is technical and leads over the Hafentälli glacier down to the lake. From there, the gentler slopes take over and lead back to the Pischagrat, where the descent starts again and leads back to the starting point at the Pischa valley station.
Hidden Gem
A short power break at the lake is recommended. Anyone who wants to stop there should definitely pack a jacket.
Safety Note
All routes of the Davos Klosters Ridges collection have exposed sections. A certain running confidence and dizziness-free are prerequisites. Plan your route and pack your equipment accordingly.
