The Dörferweg Schanfigg connects the villages of the Schanfigg valley from Arosa to Chur on both sides of the valley for hikers. This is the hiking suggestion for the stage from Chur to Pagig.

Description

This stage can be well combined with public transport use, shortening the hiking time. Between Chur and Praden, the postbus runs, allowing a part of the route to be covered easily. You can find the timetable at https://www.sbb.ch/de

Hidden Gem

Lüen, also known as the “Schanfigg Riviera”, has a climate mild enough for grapes, kiwis, and apricots to grow. The village is located on the Chur – Arosa railway line and is the first station after Chur city. The large village fountain forms the center of Lüen. Around it, the timber-framed houses create one of the most picturesque village images throughout the whole Schanfigg. Worth seeing are the Waltensburger masterpieces in the church of Lüen.
