E-Bike & Hike - Alp Maton

Details
Description
E-bike tour to Fürggli St. Margrethenberg (23.2 km, 3h 10min)
From Bad Ragaz, the tour starts by e-bike on the car-free road up to the longest arched bridge in Switzerland, the Tamina Bridge. After Pfäfers, the route leads deeper into the Tamina Valley towards Vättis. Passing St. Margrethenberg, Furggels and Sennhaus, you reach Fürggli. The way back to Bad Ragaz leads via Pfäfers directly to Bad Ragaz without any ascents.
Circular hike via Alp Maton (7.7 km, 2h 40min)
The e-bike can be parked at the edge of the forest near Fürggli during the hike. The ascent to Alp Maton near Chemispitz is quite steep. From the alp you can enjoy a wonderful view of the nearby mountains. The path from Alp Maton back to Fürggli is a moderate descent via the Grot. Of course, you can swap the ascent and descent at will.
