Description

This scenic route leads us from Arosa over the Durannapass into the Prättigau. From the Durannapass you have a wonderful view of the Prätttigau. After an approx. 3 km long descent we drive on the Bikemaster route (route 333) to the Fideriser Heubergen. The mountain house Arflina is ideal for a short stop before the last ascent to Arflinafurgga. From Arflinafurgga a short descent leads us to the Fanin Pass. Now it goes over a dreamlike descent to the Peisteralp. Via Pirigen we return to Langwies and from there back to Arosa. After rain, the stretch from the Durannapass to the Fideriser Heubergen can be a muddy affair.

Sicherheitshinweis

From Arosa it goes over the forest road to Langwies. This is followed by the long ascent over the Fondei to the Grünsee and then to the Duranna Pass. The descent to Fideriser Heubergen is challenging and partly blocked at the start. This is followed by a strict ascent with individual steep ramps. Once on the pass, you will be rewarded with a fun descent to Pirigen and then back to Langwies. From Langwies back it goes again the frost path to Arosa. Alternatively, take the Rhaetian Railway to Arosa.

Public Transport

From Chur you can take the Rhaetian Railway to Arosa every hour. The starting point is about 500 meters from the station on the other side of the lake near the boathouse.

Anreise Information

From Chur you can reach Arosa via the cantonal road through Schanfigg.

Parken

The Ochsenbühl multi-storey car park is about 50 metres from the starting point.
