Description
The typical alpine barns are found on many pastures in Davos Klosters and shape the landscape. They bear witness to the work of mountain farmers. In Klosters, these barns are called "Gadä". Along the hiking route from Monbiel to Russna, five barns repurposed as meeting places can be discovered. In the mountain barn, visitors are immersed in the sound world of Klosters agriculture; in the ground barn, one learns about the different animal breeds on the alp; and in the chicken gadä, the focus is on alpine herbs. In the Rütistall, farmer and ski instructor Thomy Kasper and seven of his colleagues talk about the symbiosis of agriculture and tourism. The culture barn offers regional artists and artisans an exciting platform. www.klosters-pur.ch/
