The hike from Bargis to the Cassons ridge station is an impressive alpine tour offering stunning views of the Sardona Tectonic Arena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Starting at Bargis (1,550 m a.s.l.), which is accessible by shuttle bus from Flims, the trail leads through the idyllic high valley of Bargis. Hikers traverse varied alpine landscapes, passing blooming mountain meadows and striking limestone cliffs. The path ascends steadily, passing Alp Rusna and continuing up to Fuorcla Raschaglius at around 2,600 metres. From there, the route leads to the Cassons ridge, where breathtaking views of the Segnesboden plateau and the famous Martinsloch await you. From here, it's a short hike down to Segnes hut, where you can take the gondola to get back to Flims. The hike requires sure-footedness and good physical fitness.
