A short but wonderful run, which leads within a very short time into a completely different world along the Inn. Along the river, the running surface changes several times. Again and again, magnificent views of the river landscape and the Büvetta Tarasp, the former drinking hall with its impressive architecture, open up.
The round starts at the Gurlaina Bridge, which welcomes us with a wonderful view of Scuol and the Lower Engadine Dolomites. After crossing the bridge, it goes directly after the workshop of the municipality to the right and after a few meters again slightly right down into the forest to the Finnenbahn from Scuol. Either we walk on the joint-gentle track or next to it always straight out until the signposted hiking trail leads us down over a small wooden bridge, which protrudes over the Clemgia, to the Inn. Over partly wooden footbridges it now goes along the Alpine river until finally another Inn bridge is reached and gives the view of the Büvetta Tarasp. After crossing the bridge, a steadily ascending hiking trail leads up to a road that is no longer used. After a few meters, however, it is immediately left to the right on a rooty zigzag hiking trail, which leads downhill again. At the end we follow the crossing trail to the left, slightly uphill until the path leads through an avenue of trees past the Hotel Filli and to the starting point of the round.
Hidden Gem
Of course, the round is also ideal for walkers and hikers. During the summer months, the Büvetta Sfondraz (Restaurant & Cafe), which is located directly on the Inn and can not be missed, invites you to stop.
Safety Note
The tour was evaluated in favorable weather conditions. The route is partly mixed with roots and runs on gravel roads. The tour requires a certain amount of concentration.
