The hiking route from Mesocco to Soazza along the old railway line. The railway line to Mesocco was closed for passenger traffic in 1978, and for freight traffic in upper Misox in 1975. The start is at the old station square in Mesocco. From here, you walk southwards to the edge of the village, cross the street, and follow the "Sentiero" sign along the former railway line. Passing the new telephone exchange, the route gently descends until you cross the stone dam and the usually dry torrent bed. Follow the railway track to the signpost. Then turn left, cross the bridge over the A13 motorway and reach the ruins of the Castello via a natural path, with a unique view over the entire Misox. Then you return to the railway line, through the oak forest and over two streams, until the railway line leads out of the forest again and takes you to the old station square of Soazza, where the post bus currently stops.

The building of the old station, brilliantly renovated, accommodates within its spaces the municipal library of Soazza and the cultural archive of the circle of Mesocco, as well as a conference room.
